I'm curious as to why you picked this one to pick on, because it's a case in which MattY is at least on the side of the angels---bitcoin is the dream currency of a certain type of Randroid.
I'd have picked his most recent "DC Walmart is teh awsum" post.
One morning, over at McArdle's beach house, she asked me if I'd rather go water-skiing or lay out or talk about BITCOIN. And I realized that not only did I not want to answer THAT question, but I never wanted to answer another BITCOIN question, or see any of these people again for the rest of my life.
"The United Food and Commercial Workers are at the center of the labor alliance against Walmart, and it’s no coincidence. UFCW represents workers at the region’s Safeway and Giant supermarkets, and the Walmart grocery shopping experience is like what they offer—only much, much better."
Yeah, I wondered when you'd get to the chthonic depths of criminally oblivious suck that his Walmart article is. I'd happy cheer him on if he decided for the rest of his career that he was going to write about why Bitcoin hasn't changed his mind.
They will tell us it doesn't matter. They will tell us to go through proper policy channels. They will tell us that we have no voice, no choice, no alternative. They will tell us that what matters are elections. They will repeat this over and over.

THE BITCOIN IS TOO DAMN HIGH!
I'm so happy you're back!
ifthethunderdontgetya™³²®© is, of course, exactly right.
Also too: I can't believe you made me read MattY first thing in the morning. You're a mean, mean fish.

But you're not a fish, Mandos.
~
It was very important that he write a long post on why he hasn't changed his mind. I couldn't wait to read it. And by read it, I mean not read it.
I hate to say it, but I agree with Mandos.
Bitcoin is a tool of tools.
You're a mean, mean fish.
It's like you don't know him, Scott.
I feel drawn…to the link…it's…calling me

I hate him so much.

I know, right?

Shorter MattY:
"This plantation is beautiful and the grounds are AMAZING"
